About KDSi
Thank you for your interest and on behalf of everyone here we say welcome to Kampala Diplomatic International School, your provider of highly effective and truly International Education.
Located on the beautiful Hill of Naguru, we at Kampala Diplomatic International School believe that the magic is in the foundation hence our beginning in Kampala with students from Kindergarten ‘Baby-Class’ up until GCE A-Level. The school takes pride in offering the (CIE) Cambridge International British Curriculum with modern facilities and interactive Online Learning with PC Tablets. In terms of tuition fees we are the most affordable British International Education in the East African Region.
With a ratio of one teacher to twelve students (1:12), our classrooms are controlled accordingly in order to maintain a conducive and friendly atmosphere for effective & high quality learning. During classes we make use of PC Tablets in the teaching and learning processes. Each student receives and utilises a PC Tablet for the purpose of an interactive and highly efficient lesson additionally the ICT Lab is open to students of all ages. Additionally, for a student to be truly well-rounded we realise that they should be able to understand the basic concepts of International Diplomacy which we actively teach alongside natural subjects.
Kampala Diplomatic International School has had expert teachers and staff from all across the globe, for instance, the United Kingdom, the USA, Germany, China and Uganda, with over 30 years of experience. A select number of our teachers are fully endorsed by Cambridge as senior-examiners for the CIE IGCSE. Learning does not only stop in the classroom, for that matter extracurricular activities are emphasised at our school for character and physical development of all our students. Our holistic approach to learning puts the right amount of emphasis on Art, Dance, Music, Sports, Swimming, Theatre, Drama, Regional and International Educational Trips.
Diplomatic Schools across the globe have already sent many students to World-Class universities such as the University of Oxford, University of Bristol, University College London and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. But this year, we would like to say Congratulations to our first batch of Year 11’s who have completed their IGCSE’s and have already been awarded unconditional offers at the University of Liverpool and the University of Brighton based on their Mock Results. Well done!
That said, the academic year 2014/2015 will be our fourth year in Kampala Uganda but our 22nd year in other Diplomatic School branches across the globe as we continue to promise the same ‘future of hope’ for our students every year via the Cambridge International British Curriculum.
